  • I just saw this - apparently my phone tool Tapatalk doesn't alert me of messages. I just got internet installed today and am finally on my main PC.

I will certainly return the DVDs and would gladly leave you a deposit if you would like.

Are you back from your hunting trip? If not, just let me know when is a good time.

I passed my 3rd class medical yesterday, so one step is behind me for now.

I wanted to talk to you about the Sporty's DVDs that you offered to loan. I will be arriving in Chugiak late next week, barring any unusual complications. It appears I cannot send you a PM because I am too new. Not sure if you could send me one and I could reply. I would like to start learning and have scheduled my AME for Sept 10.

    Dear fellow hunter!

I hope the hunting season finds you with big dreams, exciting hunt prospects for the season and a secret buck or bull you've been watching all summer!

For the last 3 years I've been working on a way for us all to share our hunting experiences- the pics, the stories, the gear, the tags that we all enjoy. The result is a website that is built around doing just that- sharing with fellow hunters.

The site is still in beta meaning there might be a few bugs. That also means we are very busy adding more features and functionality- it has been a massive undertaking. But the core is there, ready, and waiting for you to join in with me and others who are passionate about hunting.

Head on over to www.trophydown.com and sign up for an account! Then start sharing and enjoying others hunting experiences!

    Happy hunting!

Shane, straight up trade is ok with me, appears rifles are near in condition and values. I live in Homer, next trip to Anchorage will be weekend of 3/13, son-in-law is coming this weekend. Thanks, Gus
Shane, rifle is usually a safe queen, let my daughter use it once when she came up to hunt with me. Rifle is at very least 98%. Doubt if 20 rounds fired. Not a problem to seperate, kind of like this Redfield, very close to my Leupolds. Rifle has the monte carlo black synthetic stock with matte blued metal, Leupold bases and rings. Thanks, Gus

I may be interested in that trade. Can you tell me a little about the gun? Would you be willing to trade rifle minus the optics? I am not a big Redfield fan. Thanks for the reply.

High Country, I have a Weatherby MkV Fibermark in 300 Weatherby magnum topped with a Redfield 3x9 that I would trade you. Thanks, Gus
