Yes i do, I havn't seen them this winter ,usually they come up and watch the Iditarod They seem a bit people shy, i have offered for 3 years to help him change the oil and tranny fluid in that v-800 he had bought, i have all the stuff to do that and the tricks with that machine from Doo talk,Same with the LX Polaris.. Never showed up. They just replaced it with a VK 540,, Now with the covid even more so, Don't blam them .. no worries, he knows where to find me if he brakes something. I havn't been on the cut tree trail in years, use to go that way with Jim Hightower and see some of the Roberts he is related to them, Lawrence was the Postmaster there and we where both mailman back in the day ,long time now ,I usually come in from over from old Iditarod pop out around Rip Bliss, Boyscout Derf lake trail . looking for winter moose . Didn't even make it that far this year, was headed that way and found a Bull right across from me, on the trail leading to Anderson creek, standing his ground on the trail, a well placed shot from 44.mag, pistol ended that problem, Bad for him good for me Thanks for the invite , I have to get some wood in , see how far along i get with that. Cleaning up the woods of the beetle kill pine, been getting some good long time burns with that stuff, seems to be just about right before it rots . As always, your welcome here anytime. No Rum, here, But there is some Jamison, Vodka , few beers, and bottle of the cheap shit guest only Costco brand of Crown . too.
Hey Mike, how are we doing ? Still winter up here, made a trip yesterday, and river was good shape, beside the bumps , no water. I think that is about to change , Suppose to be +41 possible chance of rain/snow , and i just seen a Pair of Swans, headed your way 9pm , I don't know where the are headed, I still got 2ft of snow over the top of the burn barrel still. but those birds seem to know Regards Jeff
Hey Mike, the landing opened today,Couple airboats just passed me 3.53 pm headed your way . So much for the peace and quite ,have to listen to them in the wee hours of the night , The river is running pretty clear last couple days with the cooler weather now and is pretty high .
Lee again, I've been thinking about getting a wide track. I don't haul like you do but would like to tow a sled when needed. It would make it easier for me to get out and do a little more in the winter instead of the limited range and hauling ability that my mountain sled has. What would you recommend for me? Have you seen the tundra extremes? Or the tundra sports with the 660 ace? What is your opinion on bear cats? How do those do when the snow gets deep anyway? I still owe ya one so if you need anything let me know!
