ID:	2517213The one on the left is injured, but I think not too bad. One on the right is waiting for the fog bank to lift so hunting can resume...could only see about 20' when these were taken.

      West side of runway@ Anch. International. They trap and move them out as they move in for aircraft safety. Also found out that they are sometimes injured..impaled..on sharp sticks, etc. as they drop on prey.. mainly voles. This one may not be injured at all as the snow can mat up on their breast feathers, especially if hunting is good and they do multiple dives into the snow.
