And I continue making product so I have a ready inventory when I launch. (Hopefully in Early March)

Thanks. This will be a simple bowhunting tool. I came up with it last season, prototyped it and myself and a friend hunted with it all season (not just carried it along but actually used it on every hunt) and I think its pretty slick. Some will find value in it while others may not. Its nothing earth shattering or game changing, its just a tool.

Congratulations. I have read many of your threads and am very impressed with the quality and creativeness of your projects. If you are as good with the business side of things as you are with the design and manufacturing you will do very well with your new venture.

Can we see pictures of it? Or can you at least tell us what it does?

Im awaiting word from the US patent and Trademark office of my submittable. When I have that, any disclosure will include "Patent Pending" Until then I cant divulge much beyond some pretty basic terms. Its a simple bowhunting tool. Some will find value in it while others will not. Its not earth shattering nor is it a game changer. I searched and could find not prior art for such an item after I came up with the design and thats what prompted me to seek the patent. I fear that this build up will leave folks disappointed once they see it. Its just a simple accessory for bowhunters. Some may see it and laugh. Time will tell.

Its fun to create too. Taking an idea from just that (an idea) to concept to prototype then testing and improving an re-prototyping and then production, patent, packaging, marketing, sales is pretty involved and interesting.

Best of luck with your new commercial venture! Can we look forward to "InOut" sponsorship of this forum come March?

My understanding of patent law as it is today is informed by the internet. It seems to be a necessary evil that has limited utility for the small inventor. Hopefully you're also trademarking your logo and product name, state and Federal?

Today I made my 2nd submission to the US patent and trademark office.

Met with the videographer last night to go through the script and story board for the commercial. Meeting with the web designer next week to put the finishing touches on the web site.

Cranking out products for this new offering so as to have a stock pile at launch.

Spent 3 hours on Saturday with a videographer shooting video and photos for what will ultimately end up being a 5 minute ad/commercial for the product Im bringing to market. I saw some of the footage and its clear I have a face more suited for radio. Doing voice-0vers is move involved than I thought.
