When you find that spot, let me know, I'll help ya out. I can make it easier if you want to come over and pick a couple leaves off my money tree.

I hear there is some ocean front property in Arizona for sale. If I remember correctly they used to mine the beach there with excellent results. rumors had it it was roughly 4-6 ounces per pan........ You might want to try there.

              coincidence

I have ben looking for a spot just like what you decribe. So if any one has a couple 2 ounce a day spots they dont want I am up for one also. Or could you just swing by my house and drop off a couple pounds of gold to save me the trip.

I know of a great spot!

If you go west on the yetna past the rainbow over the small set of falls you will come to a 'Y' in the river. From there just follow the the gold flaked trail to the Cave of Gold. When you get to the cave their will be 2 leprechauns and a mermaid handing out bags of gold as big as you can carry. Hit me up and I will draw you a map if you need it!

                  Chilkat

This is a win-win deal for both of us. I need to make some holes in my backyard to place sonotubes for a little construction project I'm doing this summer. I bet there could be at least a couple ounces of color in the diggin's. I have been saving these Alaskan backyard mineral resources of mine for a rainy day, but since you are a new member to the forum, you can dig the holes and take all the gold you find. I'll even supply the ice-tea and the shovels.

                    Can't

You can't pan an ounce or two a day anyways. You just can not move that much material. Only way was if you were into a pocket or a crack in the rocks.

                    7 days x 365 days a year x $900 an ounce = $2,299,500 a year. Pretty good panning.

We all want that. :D I think we would all quit our jobs and be panning.

Dave, I think you just added 2,190 days to our year.

365 days x $900/ounce = $328,500 That's based on an ounce per day, and I still think we would all quit our jobs if it were that easy. Of course you get an extra $900 this year with the bonus day last month.

                        I have just the place

It is a secret but you can go there for a week. It will cost you $3000/day and you're only allowed to get two ounces/day. However, tents and firewood are provided. PM me for details.

Oop's....... I failed that new math back in the 60's.

                          I'd be happy with $100,000 a tear.

Man, you guys have it all wrong. Such a place doesn't exist? There's a few of them within five miles of my house!

Fred Meyer Jewelers, Kay Jewelry, Zales, etc. Heck, you could even get a few ounces of gold at Wal-Mart! You probably won't need the pan, though. ;)
