    Didn't know about them, is there more info on what will be taught. Might hit the Palmer session if the weather isn't great. I'm gonna look in to these. Thanks for the heads up. About to head out to go prospecting first real day out this spring!!!!!

      I met the guy teaching the Peninsula classes.
      Seems like a nice enough guy.
      He shows up at our gold prospectors meetings here in Kenai.
      Being they are titled as an "introduction to placer mining" and "basic prospecting" I do not think I will be going.
      I had my introduction years ago and have the basics down.
      I do need to remember to get my permits for this year though.
      If anybody on the Peninsula wanted to learn something about gold mining I might be willing to take you out sometime. I have plenty of gear.
