Anyone have one of these babies? I got on at a garage sale but it needs the lot-lan plugged in manually to initialize. Anyone else have this issue?

I had a Magellan 2000 GPS and if I remember correctly, I had to do the same thing to it. It was a basic, no frills unit (as compared to what is available today) that worked pretty good. I am not sure what happened to it, but it just stopped receiving sattelite signals so I replaced it with a new Garmin.

If you don't have the owners manual for yours, you can download it from Magellan's webiste. Here is a link that should take you to their discontinued models.

      Thanks AKDreamer,
I downloaded the manual and it helped alot. I have an old Garmin GPS 45 that is much easier.

If anyone is interested in this Magellan make an offer. I like trades...

makes great a paper weight...If their namesake had one he'd never would have made it to the Straits.
