Sign Up/In Problems

Wanted to check this out, and went to the sign up page, but I'm having issues. I cannot log in with my current forum account (it says incorrect username/password), but if I try to make a separate account for AOU, I get an error that there is already an account with my email/username. Obviously by posting this, my login to the forum is just fine, so this seems to be limited to AOU. Am I missing a step that needs to be completed?
