Rem 798 .375 H&H

Just talked to a customer service rep at Remington and was told that the Model 798 in .375 H&H will not start shipping to dealers untill late nov or early Dec. Maybe the wife will buy one for my Christmas present?

And maybe frogs will fly as Remington keeps on pushing back the intro dates of most of there new imported models.

From what I have read about this model you might as well try and find one of the last Charles Daly rifles in stock somewhere, I am sure it would be cheaper.

Zastava of Serbia instead of providing the rifles for Charles Daly will now be the supplier for rem and everything reads as though the only difference will be the stock?

I can say that I have heard nice things about the actions.
