I recieved the parts for my 10-22 to 17-hm2 conversion today. I went with a Magnum lite grahpite barrel and the new bolt handle made by Magnum Research. The gun fires perfect. It shoots a 1/2" group at 100 yards. Look out rabbits! Here is a pic.

Go for it
The kit I bought is just the berrel and bolt handle. Here is a link.http://www.hornetproducts.com/ViewPr...mber=ABAR17HM2
I am thinking about buying a volquartsen trigger next.
The stock is a houge over molded.
Hornet had the stuff to me in four days and shipping was reasonable.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Where are you from?
Wolfkiller, where are you from? I would like to check this gun out if your not too far from Elmendorf. I have looked at quite a few choices in kits and this one seams pretty expensive. Boyds has a heck of a kit for about half that. I just bought a sweet laminated stock today for the new project off of Ebay. Now just have to get the guts.

I live in North pole. I really wanted the carbon barrel and that is what costs. If you go with a different kit let me know how it works.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
