It's winter and I'm already bored.
I decided painting the stock of my deer rifle (tikka t3 in .308) was something to pass the time while waiting for the rain to end and the salmon to return.
Supplies used:
-3 colors of spray paint ( I used krylon fusion as it adheres well to plastic)
-clothes hanger or wire to suspend stock
-3m green painting tape in a wide form
-cardboard for under painting area
-tweezers
-cutting board
-razor blade(havalon)
-pencil or pen
I started with the mindset of ending up with a mostly tan stock so began with three coats of black.

I allowed 15 min of dry time between coats(I have A LOT of time).
While these coats were drying, I began to draw and cut shapes out of the painters tape. I found that placing the tape on a standard cutting board was the best way to draw, cut, and remove(using tweezers) for maximum "stick".
