Looking at some boxes for decent prices in Whittier.

No info on the boxes, not much on this forum or Internet.

Wondering if the .44 mag rounds are fine for S&W or if they're super-ruger-only-hottified.

    There's a 240gr and a 250gr "penetrator."

For a usually opinionated group, you're surprising quiet. Therefore, I'm gonna buy them.

Well, I didn't know the guy was still around. Still in business.

He is a fine feller. I took his CC class, and I've purchased some of his handloads before. 380s, as I didn't want to handload them little bitty things myself.

      No complaints with either.

        Thanks.

Yeah I wonder of the one on the shelf in Whittier are old. Any mention I've seen on the Internet days back before 2010

The ones I have are about twenty years old. They are the now banned from production barnes solids. Pretty neat to shoot through some spruce with no deformation. They functioned fine. Buy 'em and reload the bullets.
