Its a true single shot with solid bottom, and the trigger guard with 2 holes.

So long as the bore is in good shape, it should be a hummer.
    How is your barrel marked?

    Sako 6ppc single shot

Hi I just purchased a Sako 6ppc and I can't find a lot on the history of this rifle. The action and barrel are in white (not stainless) its a heavy barrel with varmint style wood stock, the barrel is marked 6mm ppc, the action is marked SAKO PPC and the serial # there is also 2 holes drilled in the trigger guard for making trigger adjustments, and the trigger is awesome. It came with Wilson seater and neck sizing dies marked ppc OVERSIZE, plus a bore guide and 1" and 30mm rings. I can't see any signs of the action ever being blued is it possible it came that way? Thanks Bob
