new Norma round?

I recently attended a hunting convention and one of the exhibiting gunsmiths told me that Norma was working on releasing a new family of cartridges based on the 338 Lapua but in a standard length cartridge in 30, 338, and 416. This was news to me. Can anyone confirm this? I was unable to find anything on the Norma web sight but perhaps there was some mention at the maybe the Shot Show?

Blackfoot - Thanx for bringing me up to speed. Of interest, the other thing I was told was that the powder that Ruger uses in their RCM is to be released on the open market next year - confirmation?
