  • When you get distracted

When you are doing some load experimentation and you let yourself get distracted,
AA#7 in the powder thrower, but looking at a can of AA#9 and the #9 loading data.
The muzzle flash was impressive and it threw the brass so far that i had five shots across
the chronograph before my buddy found the brass. Had a 155 grain XTP going 1560 to 1580...
Oddly enough it shot a good group and function fine in a Springfield Armory TRP 1911. Good thing
    it has a supported chamber.

Keep those boo-boos at sea level.

Good to hear no major damage or injuries.

The muzzle flash was rather bold and the recoil was a bit snappy. No damage.
I have been hand-loading since Nixon was the President. First time I ever screwed up.
But it is a good lesson about distraction and being pressed for time.
