  • Over All Length Question

Is there some variance in the over all length of bullets? After loading all my bullets I noticed some difference in the lengths of my bullets. I was aiming for 3.340, but there were some bullets that came out at 3.338 and 3.341. Am I being too picky? Am I doing something wrong that I am getting this variation? Is this going to affect my accuracy? (The ones that ran over I didn't shoot)
    Thanks for the help

Yes, you prob need to use a bullet comparator that enables one to measure bullets off of the ogive which will give a much more accurate and repeatable measurement. There are often very subtle differences in bullet length due to bullet tip deformation - less noticeable in "plastic tipped" bullets.
