I picked up 2 box's of the Barnes X 210 grain TSX bullets for loading up in my .338 Win. Mag. I have some RL19 & H4350 & Fed Mag. 215 primers & Win. cases. Plan is to load them up for caribou in 2015. If you have a favorite load or experience with this bullet you want to share I would appreciate it. I have always used the original 250 grain Barnes X bullet, but thought I would go for lighter recoil and flatter trajectory and I know I don't need a 250 grain bullet for caribou. I also know a 210 grain Barnes X will penetrate deep and kill any bigger critter.

I shot a moose with the Barnes Triple Shock last week. 338 WM, 210 Barnes TTSX, 71.2 grains of AA4350, 60 yard broadside shot directly into the front shoulder. Bullet went thru shoulder, blendered the chest cavity and stopped inside the off shoulder. Moose took one jump, then fell backwards and was stone dead in less than 10 seconds. I was impressed at the devastation in the chest cavity. There was a fair amount of meat lost in the shoulder to bloodshot, but I've seen worse with other types of bullets hitting bone. They shoot clover leafs in my Ruger hawkeye at 100 yds.

I run the 210 grain TSX BT in my .338 Win Mag with IMR 4350.
If it were me I'd try the H 4350 first. The Barnes manual doesn't list a load for those two powders with that bullet. Give Barnes a call and I'm sure they will be happy to assist you in finding a working range, powder weight, to start with.
