I think we just passed another great moment in the history of our militaries weapons. The M1911 caliber .45 was adopted as our official military pistol. Well some one had a stroke of genius. I better strap mine on and do a couple of dozen presentations!

I treasure mine. I received it from my Dad about 30 years ago. He bought it as he left the service in 1945. It still is a great shooter.
