Negative. The new Winchester Model 70s MOA trigger is smooth, but, it is a box trigger. The new MOA triggers are not a simplistic open design like the old triggers. IMO the old style Winchester trigger is the best hunting trigger period.

Other than trigger, the new Winchester Model 70s out of South Carolina are a superior rifle (fit, finish and accuracy) to the classic 70s and even the pre-64 70s. TS
