Custom Barrels

Hi some years ago when desert storm was going to happen , I had a 3006 ruger m77 action kicking around , for a few years . What can I do with this thing so I got a brain wave and thats good for me ,A 257 weatherby wow so I went alooken for a Barrel . Well I talked to a guy in the Great North West and he said I was one of the last people he would make a barrel for . It was too much of his time and I think he was going with the forces. so to make a long story short has anyone ever heard of North west Barrels?
