Nice rifles but take a gander at the 416 Murphy in Shooting. All new components and mine was in a custom caliber but cheaper.
Is there nothing so sacred on this earth that you aren't willing to kill or die for?

Murph, do you mind sharing your 'cheaper' price? Getting intrigued by this but ya know, dollars are a bottom line somtimes....

Really? All I have are wood-stocked. Can't stand plastic.

Those are decent looking rifles, but I hesitate to call the best quality. Check out the work being done by Duane Wiebe, Steve Heilman, Ralf Martini, Jerry Fisher and some of the other ACGG members (www.acgg.org).

Fine rifles certainly have a place in Alaska. Last year my sheep was killed with a Model 70 with metalwork by Ted Blackburn stocked by Jerry Fisher. In 2007 I killed a moose using a mauser with Tom Burgess metalwork stocked by Dennis Erhardt.
