First time posting in this area. I just picked up a gun I won from the Friends of the NRA Holiday Raffle.
I'm looking to turn it into my "mountain" rifle for Sheep, Caribou, etc. I want to lower the trigger poundage and wanted to see if there was anything else I can be on the lookout for to help keep it light, accurate, and such. Thanks!

Adjust it yourself and be done. It’s simple. Just need to take the stock off and use a Allen wrench.

my American in 6.5 is the most accurate rifle I own in a sled. Not much heavier than my Tikka super lite.

Talley Lightweight one piece ring/bases if you are looking to shed some ounces. You can send the bolt out to LRI and have it fluted for more weight savings.
