  • Removed intake air restricter doughnut in 16 Ranger 800 6x6

Finally got around to pulling the doughnut in the intake boot out yesterday. Made an amazing difference in low end torque & throttle response! I had noticed a slight loss of low end when I put my 27" Executioners on but with the doughnut out it has (or feels like it has) significantly better throttle response & increase in low end torque than with the smaller factory tires. Definitely worth the 5 minutes invested.
If you haven't done it give it a try. (I have been told it voids warranty)

Make sure to keep your throttle cable adjusted as well. Those are notorious for stretching. Leaving you with only about 3/4 throttle even when your foot is to the floor.

Time for a clutch kit now! Then you will see a REAL difference.
