High temps in the mid-30's to mid 40's since last Wednesday. Lows in the upper-20's.
    Weather History

Snow Depth At Landing Parking Lot:

We still have ground covering, but most of it is either crusty/icy snow, or straight ice. We didn't plow the lot, but conditions are still not very good when driving inside the gate. Please use extreme caution in lot and on road in the townsite.

    Trail Conditions:

There is over flow all up and down the Big Sue and Yentna Rivers. The over flow is anywhere from 2" to 8" deep in spots. There was a lot of traffic on the river this weekend. There were no open leads just overflow. The snow off the river was like spring time riding, heavy and wet!

Scary Tree Trail and Kroto Slough completely wet and chewed up. Conditions on trail are not good, and even worse off-trail. Bad conditions for towing loads. Save your gas until the overflow freezes up and conditions improve.

    Lodge Reports:

Talvista Lodge- 12/31 Currently have 4.5 feet of packed snow. Trail groomed and marked, but no signs have been posted. There may be snowdrifts in places due to wind. Bitterly cold right now. Gas is available for sale.
