    Here are a few!

Eska Falls, Jim Creek, Kings River, Eureka, Bird Creek, Eklutna Lake (only on sunday-wednesday), Permanente Trail, Boulder Creek, Puritan Creek. Hatcher Pass.
Jim Creek and Bird Creek are the closest to Anchorage. Not sure about your riding ability but most of these have different skill levels. If you are a beginner, you need to be very careful and go with someone who has some knowledge about the areas. You can get into trouble in a hurry if you allow it to happen or push your abilities!! Good Luck!! Eric

      A good forum..

      Arctictrails.net

Sign up and you will have access to a bunch of trail information and directions on how to get there. Plus a good bunch of people to go riding with.

I have heard about some of the trails but only know where Jim's Creek and Eklutna. Where are the rest you mentioned? I looked on Artic website and there is not much info on locations

        Thanks

          Arctic trails

Did you sign up for the forums? All the trails information is available once you sign up like you did for this forum. They have updated trail condition threads and directions to the trailheads. If you are just viewing as a guest, all you can see are the basic threads.

            Locations

Most of those areas are on the Glenn between Sutton and Glennallen. If you look at the Alaska Gazetteer you will be able to find them. Eric

              Probably a good place

to pump up the Alaska ATV Club! :-)
Visit the site then visit at a meeting (first Thursday of every month at the Eagle River VFW 7PM)

There is a faster way off the mountain, might hurt a little though.
