Are ATV's allowed on Palmer Creek Road near Hope?

they are not allowed there. there is a sign at the gate. the troopers do patrol the road also. -

Anybody know how the Palmer Creek Road looks this year? How far back can you get? I heard there's good camping if you want to hike there.Comment
