According to the state the trail isn't there. They tried numerous times to locate it on ground and by sir and nothing was found. I found that by google search. Good luck

I got a response. Seems the trail is in need of major maintenance . There was talk of using the trail as an alternate Iditarod trail because of the lack of snow. However the recent fires caused a lot of debris. So idea was scratched. My coworker said it's about 150 miles from Anderson/nenana area to lake minchumina. Then another 150ish miles to McGrath. Or something like that. He said the trail is only open in winter. You wouldn't be able to do it in summer. He also said if you make a go at it take plenty gas.

I have an acquaintance that lives in the area. The blocks of land you see are all private. The tek isn't usually crossable until after the first few freezes of fall.
