  • Repaired my old snow shoes. Sherpas I think.

Aluminum frame, canvas type webbing, and some kind of rubber lashing that dried out and fell apart. I looked over the way they lashed them, and duplicated that with 550 Paracord. They are back in service for almost nothing. I think these are Sherpa snow shoes. Company is out of business. I looked online for somewhere to get the lashing with no luck. I'm thinking the paracord should last quite a while.

They're Sherpa Snow Claws. 37" x 10". I have 2 pair. The others will likely need the same treatment soon.

You might need to treat the cord with wax so the snow does not stick to the cord. Melt some wax and pour it over the cord and work it in works best.
