  • Information on the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation ~ Alaska Chapters

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation currently has 3 active chapters in Anchorage (Cook Inlet
Chapter), Mat-Su and Fairbanks. Since the first chapter banquet in Anchorage in
1992, chapters have also been formed in Ketchikan, Sitka, Kodiak, Mat-Su and
Fairbanks. Active chapters offer annual fundraising banquets and other
fundraising opportunities. Alaska Chapters of RMEF support wildlife and habitat
programs most often in conjunction with ADF&G biologists and lands managers.
Hunter Heritage programs focused on youth and women also benefit from RMEF
support. Programs including Becoming an Outdoors Woman, National Archery in the
Schools, Birchwood Youth Days and other educational programs directed toward
outdoors sports activities are featured when making funding decisions. For
questions about RMEF activities, membership, or to volunteer contact Paul
Jenkins (RMEF Regional Director) at 907-727-1262 or Jerry Hall (Alaska Volunteer
    Chair) at 907-354-2217.
