  • Where to get strawberry plants?

I have a raised bed and was hoping to plant some strawberry plants that would come back each year. Does anybody know of a good source for strawberry plants? I checked Jacobsens, but they said their plants are annuals.

Most nurseries and any Home Depot or Lowes should have an abundance of strawberry plants. Usually around $4-5.

Gosh, I wish I had seen this sooner. Northern fruits nursery in Palmer/butte has bunches of 25 bare root for $20, single bare root for $1, and pretty potted green ones for $3.

I'm gonna try this next year, Order roots:
        https://www.amazon.com/Albion-Everbe...gateway&sr=8-5
        ...
Neighbor done it 2 years running with good success.
Just order new ones every Spring,
No wintering over & less weeding.

What time of the year to they have them ready?
          Type (name) of berry?
Local berry, would probably have better success %
Just need a reminder in May
