Picked about 4 gallons of peas today, took 3 Alaskan Ambers to get them all shelled. Never got to the sugar snap peas. The carrots are a mess. Every year at this time I swear "Next Year" I'm going to do a better job of thinning the carrots, but I never do.

A "Socrates" I got from Mid Valley GH.
Grew it indoors, then I cut a sucker off of it, potted & it took.
Put it in the garden & have got several cucs from it.
(doing ok in the GH too)

Believe the seeds are pricey, but an outdoor cuc in Alaska, well worth it IMO

Our 2 sweet success seem to like this damp wx up in the GH rafters. I had to give some to the neighbor because we weren't keeping up.

you've got some good looking beets.
we had to sample some of those pickled beets last nite. They are super delicious.
