I thought it would be fun to see or hear about ideas people have had for helping their 'alaska gardens' reach their full potential...
We use milk jugs with the bottoms cut off and lids removed to make 'mini greenhouses' for our starts..My boyfriend has been using them for several years, but I am not sure where he got the idea...It is a great one, and thanks to the 'inventor'!
I am attaching pictures of the broccoli I planted 12 days ago from one inch starts...I planted nine with milk jugs for their greenhouses and one I left without a milk jug.
I will have to put two posts to show the results so far, so bear with me
