    The first structure

After a summer of clearing trees, I managed to get one building up. I started with the important one. Next summer......The cabin!

It used to be good hunting period in the 60's and 70's. Not anymore I'm afraid. To much pressure.

That is some of the best looking riverfront I have seen on the river, are you on the Su or the Yentna? Beautiful cabin and property, congrats. CN

I got a place off the Grid in NYS Adirondack Region, for the toilet I've had good results with an Envirolet Composter, the one I have is good for 2-4 people continuous use. It requires Battery Power and A.C. both powered by 45 watts of Solar power and Gas Generator periodically. It eliminates toilet problems in -20 months(one less thing to worry about).
P.S. I'm entirely "Off the Grid"

Nice to see al of your cabins
I'm planning to build a whole year cabin myself, but need help to find a size that'll fit 2 adult and 2-3 kids.
    Preferable 1-1/2 or 2 storey.
What would be a suitable size?
Any Ideas about what to keep in mind is well appreciated.
On grid / off grid, heating, water and toilet/shower and stuff like that.
