I am quite interested in the vintage knowledge that is contained in older texts and photos. I have been collecting many of the older vintage outdoors books to gain the knowledge that has been mostly lost and older photos also tell of a different time in history that can still be very useful despite GPS and other technologies. If anyone here would like to post vintage pictures or texts, it would be greatly appreciated. History should live on and not get buried in an old shoe box. Thank you everyone! :topjob:

Vintage Pics
I have pulled a bunch of old Alaska pictures off of the US Library of Congress website, if you have the time I highly recommend the digital archives. The state of Alaska also has a digital archive, but it is a bit more difficult to navigate, although some on here (member gr8ful comes to mind) seem to have it all figured out. In any case, here are some of my favorites:

Red "X" is nice. I think that marks the spot the gold was buried."Essential......to Prepping for Survival, is to be able to segregate, what you think will happen, from what you hope will happen, from what you fear will happen, from what is happening".
