Sorry about that, but I just clicked on it & went right to the web page. Very strange & you're the 2nd person I've heard from who said the link doesn't work. The shelter thinks she's about a year old, isn't spayed, she is chocolate brown, and has been at the Mat-Su Shelter for almost 2 weeks without being claimed. ID number is A038344. If you search Pet Harbor she doesn't come up in the adoptable dogs, but does if you click on "I lost my pet", then "Dog". http://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=MSBP.A038344

Use: http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=MSBP.A038344
(apparently some browsers add the www if it can't find the original URL)"Your papers are not in order"

"Alli" is back at the Mat-Su Shelter & has been there since June 30th - http://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=MSBP.A039132 or http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=MSBP.A039132 She's about 15 months old, not spayed, brown, and was too much to handle for the owner(s). She likes to fetch & swim, and sounds like a typical teenage Chesapeake in need of some training & a job.

Of course she is too much to handle. How is she not spayed? She should have been before she was released the first time? Odd , and oh how my timing stinks! I wish the shelter could vet out the potential owners first. I'll post her on Alaska Dog News

Current Plan for Ally
The Chessie folks are watching her carefully, a rescue rep in Anchorage will get her and we have someone to foster her, if she does not get new people soon.
Please continue to spread the word though, we would like her to find a permanent home.
