Hay Flats (cottonwood)

I've been out to Cottonwood a couple evenings in the past week (not on the weekend)

Jumped a mallard on the way out last night but other than that I haven't seen a thing flying......... (ok I take that back I saw 3 singles WAAAAY out in the marsh the first time I went out)

Anybody have any thoughts on if we're in the middle of a lull ? or?????????

I normally walk out about a half mile from the parking lot.........

I'm thinking about hiking all the way out to the arm next time..........maybe jump shoot along the way since I might take the YOUNG dog on her first trip.....

Anybody else hunt this access point and have any info?

That bridge is horrible

Went out yesterday and walked across that bridge. Saw my dogs foot go though those holes just about every step. Though about pickin her up. Why don't they put that screen acroos all of the bridge?
