Just told my former duck hunting buddy down in MI. that I never even get out to the duck blind this year, much less point the ol' scattergun at a bird....first time in a number of years. Dang it, I hate it when that happens!!! -

Done for the season
Did our final Susitna Flats waterfowl hunt today. Already can’t wait for next season. A few small flocks of mallards around but they are on the mudline way out there. Ice was almost thick enough to walk on but it was nice to hang out with one of my adult kids and visit. We did really well this season so the one duck that did visit our spread got a pass. Time to clean the mud off the plane and get ready for ice fishing.
