Limit is one per season per person.

Oh ok thanks.....I didn't know, and didn't think of looking it up. I knew they were pretty coveted but didn't know just how much. Man they are beautiful birds! have you hunted them? I've never have, so was wondering if you happen to know if they usually hunt them over dekes, or is it just get set up where they are known to come through to get a chance at pass shooting some? Just curious is all.....

I've personally never hunted them. I've been around quite a few down in Kodiak, but there was no season for them back then. If I ever get get back down to Kodiak I know a few places where they hold up. They liked to hang out on the beaches, I'm assuming you could probably get a few blue goose decoys and set them out on the beach and probably get them to come in. The ones we saw were very patternable. They flew into the same spots every day, so you could easily set up and wait for them to come in. They flew in low and slow too. You'd just have to be very careful to only shoot one once they came in. Hopefully I get drawn for Kodiak goat or bear this year so I have an excuse to try these theories out.
