        Nice to be able to hunt late season. :topjob: I spent 2 years hunting the Gulf Coast salt marshes from my kayak but never had the opportunity to hunt TX inland.

            If you do look at Port Aransas/Mustang Island. There are guides with airboats and permanent blinds but it is easily accessed with kayaks. Just don't get stuck at low tide or you'll be dragging your boat. Lots & lots of pintails, redheads, scaup, etc. it's a neat area and you can spend the mid-day flyfishing for reds. Use extreme caution with dogs. The bottom is littered with broken oyster shells that are as sharp as razor blades. Sled dog booties work great.
