    Just got last years blackie hide & skull back. Bear had a pretty serious injury to it's lower jaw and managed to survive for it to heal. Tough critters..Click image for larger version

    Ouch! That must have been rough and painful. Kinda like the broken and healed walrus usik my brother-in-law has on his mantle.

          That skull is a keeper AGL4now. Very cool, wouldn't it be great to know his or her story? They are amazingly tough critters.

          I have a black bear skull with four puncture marks through the muzzle and skull where another bear got hold of him. All healed up except there are four very small holes and a bone spur above his eye socket. Also has a seashell particle stuck in Inge of his molars...and upper jaw damage resulting in several missing front teeth.
