Back bears in units 13 or 20

Lots of area is open up there. As long as your not in the national park of course. And on the native land, which is clearly posted. Other than that you should be good to go. Maybe try out Denali State Park.

I am going to be working near Denali NP throughout the summer starting the first of June and wondered if there was any good public land black bear hunting in the area? I would only be able to travel very far to hunt on the weekends since I will be working during the week. I have gathered from reading other posts that the hides are generally decent until the end of June so I will focus my efforts to that month. I've been hunting for 25 years, the last 12 for elk, deer, antelope, mountain goats, bighorn sheep and bear in Colorado so I have lots of hunting experience but will be a newbie to Alaska. Any advice would be much appreciated.
