Once you get the shed antler bug it is hard to get rid of. The big elk should start dropping any day now..............

James is a real neat fella, ive been there a few times, the pics dont even do it justice, there are 2 other collectors in montana that dont have as nice a display, but have just as many sheds. the collector near the park has every shed hes picked since 1950, he hasnt seen the back of the barn since 1960 he said, and there are some huge elk antlers in there that are record book animals.

wow...that is nuts....when i was a kid spending summers at my grandpas ranch in northern idaho, he had a cold cellar filled top to bottom with shed elk and deer and moose antlers.....i would play with them for hours......on the last there were 120 whitetail sheds, 200 elk sheds, 95 mule deer sheds, and 45 moose sheds.....was really incredible...my great grandfather, grandfather and dad were all loggers in northern idaho and eastern washington........about 3/4 of the collection that i adored and played with as a boy were stolen and sold by a drifter and his family in 1998.......he was caught and arrested, but the sheds were never found....
