    ~~LOL!!~~
March 15th, quite a few years back, while butchering my Ox (last day of the season) one big ol' Boar. Was noticable warm out.

Watch for a good warm up, near the mid 20's and the sun will make drips and puddles, then go out and have a look.
The start of April is usually a VERY good time for he who hunts Browngrizz.:topjob:

I'm on Front street right now, finishing another rebuild, Justin, could be a Polar Bear out there now.......~~LOL!!~~

Typically in the interior its the middle of April, but they do come out earlier to bounce around for awhile then go back to there den for a couple of weeks. It really depends on the weather.

Earliest I have seen tracks was the last part of March.

The earliest I have seen was Apr. 6th. It was a 9 1/2' brown bear near Dillingham. He now stands in my entry way.

My dad killed a grizzly near our cabin in 13E a few years back on February 14th...the 8' boar who looked as if he suffered an injury to one of his hips will forever be known as the valentines day bear. His beautiful hide was falling off he was so skinny.
