I got a elk tag so is that the same as a moose.How are the roads driveing to Etolin Island and best hotels there.Oh ya should I bring my custom 22mag with 4X12 superslam scope which I shoot very well or take my 460 Weatherby mag which I'm scared to even touch but may need for charging bears,no way are bears getting my hard earned horns

Roads are nice and smooth, 2x4 out of Wrangell will get you there.

Start sleeping on a 75degree rain pelted mtn for seven day rotations with hiking nonstop then you will be ready. But I would do it again any day of the week.
