            Great hide?

From your pictures, the hide looks great. What's the plan? Full or rug?
            Congratulations!

NICE Bear, plus a HUGE skull.......great trophy!

If you didn't say it was a Novemeber hunt, I would have guessed it was a Spring hunt based on the snowy conditions.

Like everone else, I'm hanging on for more hunt details...full report?

I was on a guided hunt in the Red Lake area.It snowed off and on
for seven staight days. Some days visibility was very poor. We passed on a
9 footer early in the hunt that was badly rubbed. We spotted this bear on
the 12th day digging roots out in the open but before we could get to him
he walked into a patch of willows. We waited all afternoon for him to come out. We tried a fawn bleat call but he did'nt respond. Late in the day my
guide decided he would have to push him to me. He went around to the
other side and started in on the bears tracks. It was'nt long before I heard
the bear ''woof'' and the guide yelled ''He's coming at you''. I could see the
tops of the willows moving and could tell he was coming in my direction.
He popped out sixty yards from me and stopped and turned to look back
where the guide was. I shot him once in the chest and he started up to me
getting closer but at an angle not at me. I shot him twice more in the chest
and my fourth shot he was in the wide open forty yards away and I put it right on his shoulder and fired. I was suprised to see him still standing and looking around after my last shot! I had a clip in my pocket but did'nt feel
comfortable fumbling with that so I reached into my other pocket and pulled
out a loose shell. As I closed the bolt on the gun the bear went down! His
fur was beautiful with not a rub on it. Never actually squared it but the guide
measured it on the carcass and said it would go 9'9". Front pad was 9" across.I plan on getting a full mount. Here's another picture you can look
                    at.

Your bear has beautiful pelt, a very good trophy.
