  • Search for Bear Dens

Back after a long weekend trip look for bear, didn't see any or any tracks. One ermin, a fox, a couple of sheep, some moose and birds. Above all plenty of time with the shovel...as the snow was 4-5 feet deep, we were on trail sleds, and sugar snow in many areas.

Looks like a week of good riding atleast. Thats the best part about spring bear hunting. If you don't get anything you still get to be out on the long warm spring days and taking advantage of some of the best riding AK has to offer. Can't wait for this friday when I head up to look for some bears of my own. Thanks for the pics.

        Well,
after eating this evening , I went for another ride around our mountain, Asagonic, today and burned the other 1/2 of my tank of gas. Still NO bear tracks of any kind:rolleyes: Im waiting for hot tea , now, and

I did , however, cut tracks of one BIG Wolf, who is up, in the trees on that Mt......so I have a target to chase in the dawn light......But I sure do want to eat some good steak

                ~~LOL!!~~

No matter "WHAT" kinda rig you have , your always gonna get STUCK!!!

Its part of driving, aint it?

Is your sled behind you, or Under you? In deep powder like that (we get it in the trees here) I bust a trail and then bring my sled in or my load out........

Even with nada in the sled, the ride is well worth the day!
