Talk to our very own, Mike Strahan. Also speak with Inland Aviation in Aniak. Of course, don't forget a call to the area bio. I think he's in McGrath. Decent moose and black bear hunting. Outstanding pike fishing, at least the lower part. Fair amount of hunters, both locals and floaters.I can't help being a lazy, dumb, weekend warrior.......I have a JOB!

Moose are hard to come by. The wolf kills are taking a toll on that area. Numbers are way down but if you are lucky you could get a moose out of that area.Comment

I have heard the same thing Eagleriver24.
Actually knew a guy that guides as an assistant and was out there 2 years ago and said it was horrible??
He is a pretty reliable source too.Comment
