No 20 mile moose for me!
    Adventures,

Have you hunted the 20 mile river for moose before? I've applied a few times with never any luck of getting a permit.

when i check names the default for the year is set for 2005, it says right above that that the default is set for the year that current info is available...so i'm guessing 06 is not all there yet....shot in the dark. i found one guy who drew a moose tag and thats it....

          moose tag

If that moose tag was a DM800 series, that came out in March. I havent found a valid draw winner for anything from the spring draw.

Not necessarily. There are some new areas in the DM800s that went to draw just this spring, specifically, 3 that I put in for.

Well, no drawing permits for me or the wife, but I finally won a Tier II caribou permit for the first time in 5+ years.

My extended family, though, hit the jackpot. My brother got a musk-ox permit, sister got a caribou and a bison permit, dad got a caribou and moose permit, and sister-in-law got a caribou permit. Last year they all got sheep or goat permits. Some folks really do have all the luck!

Not sure if you've hunted brownies on Kodiak or not before, but if you haven't, you're in for an awesome trip. I shot one on Kodiak this spring, and let me tell you, I'm addicted. I can't wait until I'm able to go back and get another one.
