Upcoming Sheep Meetings Wednesday & Friday Night

Todd Brinkman will be presenting draft survey results from the sheep survey he conducted, and F&G will also provide any biological data compiled so far.

Wednesday November 19th 6:30-8:30 pm in Fairbanks at the Murie Auditorium on UAF campus.

Friday November 21st 6:30-8:30 pm in Anchorage at the Loussac Library

Hope to see a good crowd here in Fbks tomorrow night.

Although the majority of what Tony presented was already in my files, I did appreciate him getting it out there. Every time I read sheep comments to the BOG or debates on this and other sites, it's clear that plenty of people don't have that kind of basic statewide information. Hopefully it will be put out in a format that makes it readily available to people so there is a more informed debate going forward.

I thought Dr. Brinkmans approach of framing his analysis by splitting things into "hunters who think there is a problem vs. hunters who don't think there is a problem" was interesting, although I'm not exactly sure what the purpose if that method was. Good information overall though. I think it should be a very useful tool going forward.
