Thanks for coming to the meeting RJ. I hope to see more interest from the public in the future. I'll be posting the meeting schedule here soon. There are also sub committee meetings periodically. I'll post these schedules as they're developed.

`There was a grand total of 10 citizens at tonites meeting. 5 seats were up for election. Where were the whiney sheep hunters? They coulda put a couple of their guys on the AC!
Gotta get folks riled up about something for them to participate I guess. Of course we had the lowest voter turnout ever for yesterdays Borough election!
          I can't help being a lazy, dumb, weekend warrior.......I have a JOB!
          I have less friends now!!

Nice to meet ya Mike V.

I got a lot out of the meeting last night.

If WE ( Hunters ) don't get involved in these types of meetings , We could Very well Loose the one thing that we love about living in Alaska in the first place & that is hunting & Fishing & the possibly of future hunting for our Kids & grand kids .

ALOT of guys come on Forums such as this & beat the band to be heard but when it comes to putting actual work into helping to fix the problem, such as Testifying or even writing a letter stating their concerns, ya never hear a peep out of them.

THEN when a regulation change comes out , they scream at the top of their computer about how unfair it is.

I plan on getting involved in as many of these meetings as I can.
